Challenge

Updating the Prezzo Website

The old Prezzo website was outdated and in need of a refresh. It did not represent Prezzo’s strong brand presence, the CMS was difficult to update, and the content was not efficiently organised. The website appeared flat and did not provide enough user experience. It was not user or mobile-friendly enough.

Solution

A Fresh Start with Improved Design and Functionality

MethodWorx revamped the Prezzo website to give it a modern look and feel that aligned with Prezzo’s strong branding while also prioritising customer-friendliness. The entire website was rebranded, improved, and rebuilt from scratch. The redesign was streamlined and consistent, drawing inspiration from Prezzo’s menu. The front-end was restructured to clearly display key restaurant information.

New Exciting Features

Regional Offerings and Extended Orderings

Prezzo wanted regional offerings (restaurant-specific offers), restaurant campaigns, and extended orderings to add a new journey to their website. MethodWorx ensured that Prezzo had a CMS that would allow them to have the flexibility to make their own changes, updates, and organise their content without ruining the consistency of the new website.

User Experience

Improved Navigation and Mobile-Friendliness

A top priority for this project was to improve the overall user experience. Customers can now access the information they require efficiently and with ease via the tabs that are front and centre on each landing page. The website headers were made smaller to encourage users to scroll down and engage more with the rest of the website’s content.

Prezzo Booking Widget

A Flexible Tool for Customers

The booking widget created for Prezzo ensures that customer experience is at the forefront. It is a flexible tool that changes with the times and updates with ever-changing COVID rules when customers want to make a booking. It performs a ‘cross-sell’ which allows users to find nearby booking availability. It is integrated throughout the website, allowing for easy access whenever and wherever needed.

Technology

Utilizing Modern Tools for an Efficient Build

The project started in late November, with a turnaround time of three months. The frontend developer worked on the website’s design using Adobe XD, which allowed stakeholders to sign off on designs in desktop, tablet, and mobile views. Once the design had been refined and agreed upon, a static website in HTML and CSS was created using a SASS task runner.
